All the Students can buy their AIOU Admission Form & Prospectus of all Programmes from sale points of AIOU (main campus), and all regional campuses. Admission forms along with fee can be submitted in all designated bank branches. List of Bank Branches is available from regional offices & prospects.
Overseas students can submit their admissions forms though : overseas@aiou.edu.pk.
In Allama Iqbal Open Univeristy, study is based on a modified semester system. The academic year is divided into two semesters namely Spring and Autumn. Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad (AIOU) is the first Open University in Asia region. AIOU was established in 1974 under an Act of Parliament. AIOU University is a unique institution in Pakistan because of its philosophy, system, approach, functions and overall Educational structure. The university has established 42 regional campuses and centers in various parts of the country to coordinate and facilitate decentralized system of education of the university.
