Important Updates about Hajj 2024 :
The federal government’s announcement on Hajj policy 2024 is expected by the end of this month. In 2024, 179,210 Pakistani citizens will have the opportunity to perform Hajj, including citizens above the age of 65, according to the Saudi-mandated quota.
According to reports, the Ministry of Religious affairs will not receive the Hajj subsidy in 2024.
It should be highlighted that 25000 quota is reserved for sponsorship scheme, which is a special facility given to Hajj pilgrims who seek foreign currency from abroad in the specific dollar account of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Application Deadline :
- According to Hajj Ministry, Hajj applications can be submitted from 27-November 2023 to 12-December 2023.
Where to Submit Applications
Hajj Applications can be submitted in 15 designated banks of the country while the names of the pilgrims selected for going to Hajj 2024 will be announced Later. Those who are not selected for hajj will get money back from the banks.
Health Requirements :
The applicants will have to submit details of their health status in advance. The health data, along with credentials of the intending pilgrims, would be forwarded to Saudi Arab, enabling the Kingdom to make arrangements for their medical care during the Hajj.
Required Documents with Hajj application 2024:
- Computerized CNIC (National ID Card)
- Machine readable passport which should be valid up to December, 2024, or receipt of passport application issued by the immigration and passport office.
- All Hujaj must have a Bank Account.
- 3 Photographs of 4×3 cm size in light blue background.
- Women applicants under 45-Years of age must have the permission of their Mahrams.
